Biography

・1992

Started to study and work as a calligraphy artist.  (Her first calligraphy- learning was in her childhood.)

・〜2013

-　Selected and awarded in “Japan – France Contemporary Art World Exhibition”

-　Selected and awarded in “International Paris Salon Exhibition”
-　Selected and awarded in “Nishi Nippon Calligraphy Art Exhibition”
-　Her solo exhibitions are held in Tokyo and Fukuoka.
-　Joined in “Niho Bungeika Club Artist Exhibition” in Harajuku, Tokyo

・2014

-　Opened Solo Exhibition at Mizen Fine Art , Paris
-　Selected in 14th Japan – France Contemporary Art World Exhibition and exhibited in The National Art Center Tokyo
-　Joined in “Niho Bungeika Club Artist Exhibition” in Tokyo

・2015

-　Selected in Belgium-Holland Art Exhibition , and exhibited in Belgium and Holland
-　Selected her work and exhibited in REVELATIONS 2015 International Fine Craft & Creation Biennial , Grand Palais in Paris
-　Opened a exhibition “French drawn by SU-MI” at Institut français du Japon – Kyushu

・2016

-　Opened Solo Exhibition at Mizen Fine Art , Paris
-　Donated her work ,”Mui”, to the ambassador office at Consulate-General of Japan in New York
-　Joined in “Exhibition by Twelve Female Artist with Kageki Shimoda, a Naoki Prize winner, expressing four seasons” in Tokyo

・2017

-　Exhibited in Love and Violence at the Galleria Civica Cavour in Padova, Italy, and demonstrated her calligraphy drawing
-　Selected her work and exhibited in REVELATIONS 2017 International Fine Craft & Creation Biennial , Grand Palais in Paris
-　Exhibited her works in “le festival Arethe Paris”

・2018

-　Recommendation selected for “Japan – France Contemporary Art World Exhibition”, and exhibited her work at National Art Center Tokyo
-　Exhibited her work at “le festival Arethe Festival” in Oxford, UK and Paris, France
-　Opened solo exhibition with Mr. Gilbert Scher, a French broadcast writer in Paris
-　Joined in “KSAC ART FESTA 2018” in Daiba, Tokyo

・2019

　-　Awarded Semi-grand Prize in the 44th Nishi Nippon calligraphy art exhibition, promoted to a representative artist
　-　Joined in Kurume Machinaka Art Festival and exhibited five artworks at Shin-Kyo Temple in Kurume-City,Fukuoka
　-　Joined in “KSAC ART FESTA 2019”. Exhibited in MDP GALLERY in Nakameguro, Tokyo

・2020

Due to COVID19, we cancelled to hold her solo exhibition in Paris and other Europes, and postponed to join in other exhibitions

・2021

　-　Joined in 「KSAC VALENTAINE ART FESTA 2021」in Daiba, Tokyo
　-　Exhibited an artworks at “Nishi Nippon Calligraphy Art Exhibition” as a representative artist

・2022

　-　Opened Solo Exhibition “Ondulation (U-ne-ri) ” at Suenaga Culture Center, Fukuoka
　-　The artwork “Yui : Lien” was exhibited at the tea ceremony for bonding Tokyo Olympic Games 2020 and Paris Olympic Games 2024 in the wedding hall room of 7^e arrondissement de Paris.

・2011~2018

Started her own calligraphy culture lecture, “French expressed with Sumi (Japanese ink) at INSTITUT FRANÇAIS DU JAPON-KYUSYU  　

Awards

Awarded in Japan – France Contemporary Art World Exhibition, American Art Award, International Paris Salon Exhibition, and Nishi Nippon calligraphy art exhibition.

・Television Nishi Nippon Prize in the 41st Nishi Nippon calligraphy art exhibition (2015)
